Description
The NVIDIA/Mellanox MMA1Z00-NS400 compatible QSFP112 InfiniBand NDR optical transceiver is an InfiniBand 400Gb/s single-port QSFP112, SR4 multimode parallel transceiver using a single, 4-channel MPO-12/APC optical connector. The short reach 4-channel (SR4) design uses 100G-PAM4 modulation and has a maximum fiber reach of 50-meters using OM4 multi-mode fibers. The QSFP112 transceiver is used in ConnectX-7/QSFP112 adapters or BlueField-3 DPUs. Featured with low latency, low power, and reliability, it can link upward in spine-leaf architectures to Quantum-2 air-cooled switches. When connected to a 1:2 splitter fiber cable, there are only 2 channels on the split end and only 2-channels in the 400G transceiver will be activated, automatically producing 200G speeds and reducing power. It is an ideal solution for supercomputing and is suitable for InfiniBand NDR end-to-end systems, seamlessly integrating into computing and storage infrastructure to ensure efficient high-performance interconnection.
