The S5590-64C is a next-generation Layer 3 switch based on the Broadcom Tomahawk2 chipset, delivering up to 12.8 Tbps switching capacity. It features a compact 2U design with 64 × 40/100G QSFP28 ports and supports 4 × 10/25G breakout. Running PicOS® with a perpetual license, the switch provides comprehensive L2/L3 features such as MLAG, BGP, and OSPF, along with advanced EVPN-VXLAN virtualization and congestion control technologies including RoCEv2, PFC, and ECN. Integrated security features and five years of free hardware and software technical support ensure reliable operation for large enterprises and small to medium-sized data centers. The switch is managed by the AmpCon-Campus management platform, offering Day 0 to Day 2+ automated lifecycle management with Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP), topology discovery, and real-time telemetry. AmpCon-Campus automates workflows, simplifies operations, and enhances visibility into the performance of connected devices.
