Brocade 10G-SFPP-ZRD-1563.86 SFP+ transceiver supports up to 40km link lengths over single-mode fiber (SMF) via an LC duplex connector. Digital diagnostics functions are available via a 2-wire serial interface, as specified in SFF-8472, to allow access to real-time operating parameters. The transceiver employs a DWDM EML transmitter and an APD receiver, delivering reliable performance while complying with SFF-8431 and SFF-8472 MSA standards for seamless network integration. With these features, this easy to install, hot swappable transceiver is suitable to be deployed in the DWDM networking equipment in metropolitan access and core networks.
