Description
The Cisco QSFP-100G-ZR4-S compatible QSFP28 optical transceiver module is designed for use in 100GBASE Ethernet, providing throughput up to 80 km over single-mode fiber (SMF) using a wavelength of 1310 nm via duplex LC connectors. The 100G signal is carried over four wavelength lanes. It features a BOX+FPC+PCBA separate design for high reliability, airtightness, and efficient heat dissipation. Operating with low power and supporting standard QSFP28 ports, it provides a cost-effective long-reach 100G solution. Compliant with IEEE 802.3ba 100GBASE-LR4, IEEE 802.3bm CAUI-4, and QSFP28 MSA standards, this module supports digital diagnostics via the I2C interface for real-time monitoring. It is suitable for long-distance connectivity in telecom, data center interconnects, service provider networks, wireless fronthaul and midhaul, metro and enterprise networks, and high-performance computing applications.
