Description
The PMC-1SC1T-SM is an unmanaged Gigabit PoE+ Ethernet media converter designed to extend network transmission distances. Featuring one 1000Base-X SC single-mode fiber port and one auto-negotiating 10/100/1000Base-T copper port, it effectively overcomes the 100 m limitation of copper cabling by extending transmission reach up to 10 km over fiber. Compliant with IEEE 802.3af/at PoE+ standards, this converter can deliver up to 30W of power to connected Powered Devices (PDs). Integrated LED indicators provide real-time monitoring of power and link status, while Link Fault Pass-Through (LFP) technology enhances network reliability and simplifies troubleshooting, helping to reduce maintenance costs. Its plug-and-play design ensures easy deployment, even for non-technical users, and it can be used either as a stand-alone unit or wall-mounted. This makes it an ideal solution for ISP infrastructure and small office network deployments.
