The NVIDIA/Mellanox MCA4K00-X003 is a 2x 800Gb/s twin-port OSFP to 2x 800Gb/s twin-port OSFP Active Direct Attached Copper cable. Using the Octal Small Form Factor Plug (OSFP) and contains eight high-speed electrical copper pairs, each operating at data rates of up to 200Gb/s. This cable is compliant with OSFP MSA (Multi-Source Agreement), IEEE 802.3df and 802.3dj, CMIS Rev5.0 standards. Active DACs offer superior mechanical durability and excellent shielding to minimize crosstalk and deliver better signal integrity (SI) performance at a higher Nyquist frequency. Featuring a simple design and minimal components with Flat-top (OSFP-RHS) form factors, ACC cables provide power-efficient connectivity erhabling higher port bandwidth, density and configurability at a low cost and reduced power requirement in supercomputers and hyperscale systems.
